As part of its mission to educate others about Austin’s efforts to create more affordable housing opportunities for low and moderate income residents, HousingWorks Austin hosts affordable housing bus tours. Tour attendees see and visit some of the most innovative affordable properties in the city and learn how those properties became a reality.
Based on your group’s interests and needs, we arrange the tour route, the expert speakers, and the educational materials. Topics include: public-private partnerships, housing for special needs populations, permanent supportive housing, housing and transit, housing and education, and the list goes on and on.
